VZ&Y Homecare provides a wide variety supportive companionship services for senior people in the Lake and Cook Counties of Illinois. Companionship services include but are not limited to the following activities:

• Conversation and various recreational activities
• Help with the preparation of grocery lists
• Meal planning and preparation
• Monitoring diet
• Feeding
• Preparation of future meals
• Help with planning visits and trips
• Help with the morning wake-up
• Medication reminders
• Help with reading

• Assistance with walking

Housekeeping consists of a wide variety of light cleaning services including, but not limited to the following:

• Vacuuming
• Kitchen maintenance
• Mopping of the floors
• Washing dishes
• Dusting
• Cleaning the bathrooms

VZ&Y Homecare provides bathing and showering services which include the performance or assistance to the clients in their non-medical bathing in bed, shower or bath tub.

VZ&Y Homecare performs a wide variety of services that are tailored to aid the clients in the maintenance of their personal care and grooming needs. The services include but are not limited to the performance of or assistance with the following activities:

• Grooming
• Skin Care (limited to non-prescribed, non-medical lotions only; only non-damaged skin may be treated)
• Dressing
• Combing and brushing the hair

VZ&Y Homecare performs the washing of all personal laundry and bed linens for the client.

Shopping service includes the performance of local shopping for groceries and home supplies for the client. Shopping may be performed with or without the client.

VZ&Y Homecare provides short-term relief to the family members who care for the senior relatives in their residences. VZ&Y Homecare is more than happy to provide care for the senior person(s) while the family caregiver is away for any reason.

VZ&Y Homecare provides local transportation* to the client which may include but is not limited to the transportation to the following locations:

• Drug store
• Post Office
• Bank
• Dry-cleaning store
• Friends and relatives residences
• Doctor visits
• Religious services
• Various events

*Please contact the management of VZ&Y Homecare if the client requires transportation services that are not local.

VZ&Y Homecare provides various money management services that help the senior people to maintain their independent living in their residences. The service includes but is not limited to the following:

• Paying Bills
• Balancing checkbook
• Budgeting
• Assisting with unpaid bills
• Making telephone calls
